In recent years, so-called ‘beds’ sectors have become a mainstay of many real estate investors’ portfolios. Subsequently, lenders have proven willing to provide financing to owners, buyers, and developers of residential real estate across European markets. Now, with interest rates rising, high inflation, and economic volatility, debt providers face the challenge of underwriting deals in the sector against an uncertain backdrop. Real Estate Capital Europe’s residential roundtable will examine the key trends in the European residential financing market, and investigate how sponsors and financiers are rising to the challenges and opportunities the sector presents.

Coverage of the roundtable will appear in the Spring issue (in print and online) and is designed to provide a select group of firms the chance to debate the key topics and trends in financing the residential sector, to REC’s unique European audience.
