Rubinoff joins White & Case from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he worked for almost 20 years. At Freshfields, Rubinoff advised investment banks, private equity funds, real estate investors, hotel companies and sovereign wealth funds on national and cross-border real estate transactions.

White & Case said that the addition of Rubinoff to its global banking practice supports the firm’s strategic focus on profitable growth in London.

“White & Case has built strong banking, real estate finance and real estate practices in London,” said partner Eric Berg, head of the firm’s global banking practice. “Jeffrey is an acknowledged leader in real estate finance and his skills, experience and strong reputation in the market will be a considerable advantage as we continue to add depth to these practices.”

“There are exciting synergies between our banking, private equity and real estate practices, and Jeffrey’s considerable experience advising investment banks, private equity firms and property investment, real estate and hotel groups plays to our strengths,” said partner Lee Cullinane, regional section head, EMEA banking. “As a top practitioner in his field with proven leadership qualities, his arrival will further strengthen our client offering.”
