Banking and finance partner Ian Frost has joined the Finance Practice of law firm Vinson & Elkins in London. He was previously a partner in the London office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
“Ian has spent his career immersed in handling the needs of London’s most prominent banking and finance clients,” said Erec Winandy, co-head of the Finance Practice.
Frost has worked across a range of banking products with a focus on leveraged and distressed lending as well as corporate treasury transactions, bank and bond financings and restructurings.
His clients have included international banks, such as Deutsche Bank, and private equity firms including BC Partners and Permira.
In January Vinson & Elkins added partner Trevor Wommack to its Finance Practice in Houston where he is focused on syndicated lending in the energy sector.
The Finance Practice currently has more than 50 attorneys and advises on a range of financing transactions with a particular focus on the energy sector where it represents arrangers, mezzanine investors and other alternative lenders, financial sponsors and corporate borrowers.
