Europe’s real estate lenders have continued to deal with the fallout of the covid-19 pandemic during 2021. But, for many, the gradual recovery of the continent’s property markets has signalled the opportunity to do more business.

The stand-out organisations and transactions in Europe’s property lending market this year will be recognised in the Real Estate Capital Europe Awards 2021. As we prepare to compile the shortlists across 33 categories, we want to hear your highlights from a year of challenges and opportunities.

Our awards are now in their eighth year. They celebrate the lenders, borrowers, advisers and deals that moved the needle in the year before. Our 2020 winners can be found here.

For 2021, we have introduced new awards, including Mid-Market Lender of the Year: Europe, to recognise those that specialise in the €20 million to €70 million lending market; Sustainable Financing Deal of the Year: Europe, to recognise transactions that have sustainability factored in; and Fintech Company of the Year: Europe, to recognise industry innovators using technology to improve the real estate financing market.

If you believe your organisation deserves to be considered for an award, we are inviting you to click HERE to submit your achievements in 2021 so far – the deadline is midday UK time, Friday 19 November.

Voting will open in December, with the winners announced in our spring 2022 edition, and online at recapitalnews.com in March next year.

We are often asked how long submissions should be. The answer is: please keep them brief. We do not want to sift through reams of marketing material. Stick to the headline facts – we want to know about your deals – and convince us that your organisation should be in contention for one of our prestigious awards.
