REC Awards 2017: Voting has opened

It’s the news you’ve all been waiting for… The Real Estate Capital annual awards poll is now open, giving you the chance to have your say on who defined the market in 2017.

The waiting is over. It’s time to have your say in the Real Estate Capital 2017 Awards.

The poll has gone live and you can now register your votes by clicking here.

Our awards, now in their fourth year, cover the European real estate finance markets. They include accolades for lenders of varying types – including banks and insurance companies, as well as senior and high-yield debt funds. On the borrower side, the awards recognise the standout finance teams within the fund manager space, as well as Europe’s REITs.

As well as the organisations that made a splash this year, we want to hear which deals impressed you the most across the investment and development finance markets.

Real Estate Capital’s editorial team compiled the shortlists across the categories, after accepting submissions, canvassing the opinions of industry contacts, and delving into our archives to re-examine the year in European real estate finance.

Compiling the shortlists was an enjoyable but difficult task and in several categories there were many more worthy contenders than the four that were ultimately chosen.

A quick reminder of the rules: votes will be accepted from your company email address only; you may not vote for yourself or your own firm; you may vote only once; and we encourage you to make selections in as many categories as possible, although you do not have to vote in all of them.

The polls close at midnight on Monday, 8 January and the results will be revealed in March.

So, why not set aside 10 minutes to find out who has been nominated, and cast your votes? We’ll be eagerly awaiting the results.
