La Francaise takes on CWI team

Cushman & Wakefield Investors’ European investment manage-ment team have become La Francaise Forum after Forum and La Francaise bought them. CWI chief executives David Rendall and Jens Gottler and their team will continue to manage the business, including the PURetail Fund. C&W said it was “not the right time to invest substantially in building CWI”.

Patrizia appoints French MDs

Patrizia has hired Silvio Estienne and Bruno Cohen as managing directors in France. Estienne was ING REIM France chairman and CEO before its merger with CBRE GI; Cohen was chief investment officer in France. CBRE GI has promoted Rik Eertink to head of Nordics after Martin Serse left, and has taken on Bouwinvest’s Jeroen de Grunt as a portfolio manager.

McMain moves to Laxfield

Laxfield Capital has recruited originator Chris McMain to work with head of transactions Alexandra Lanni. McMain was previously with RBS’s property team, where he worked on  structured finance loans.

O’Neill lands LGP funds role

James O’Neill has left Grosvenor  to become head of distribution at Legal & General Property. He will work mainly with international investors on funds including UK Property Income Fund II.

Brown fills top Cornerstone post

CBRE Global Multi Manager’s former head of America, Scott Brown, has joined Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers as president, taking over from Dave Reilly, who remains as CEO.
