Now is the time to vote for the Real Estate Capital Europe Awards 2023

At long last, the wait is over to cast your votes for the individuals, organisations and transactions that represented the best of the European real estate debt market in 2023. The Real Estate Capital Europe Awards is back for its 10th edition, with 34 categories.

Cast your vote at our dedicated awards page today to have your say. Voting closes on Friday, 12 January 2024. The winners will be announced in online and in print in March 2024.

There can be no doubt 2023 has been one of the most difficult years for the industry in recent memory. Rising interest rates and economic uncertainty have led to fewer real estate investment transactions for lenders to write loans against. Meanwhile, the rising cost of financing has created problems for some borrowers.

However, as our awards categories show, business continued to be done, albeit at lower volumes than in previous years. The organisations shortlists across the categories demonstrated impressive activities during the year, against a challenging backdrop.

For the first time, we have introduced awards for individuals. For Real Estate Finance Industry Figure of the Year: Europe, individuals that have led growing businesses through this turbulent year have been shortlisted, while Real Estate Finance Rising Star of the Year: Europe celebrates those emerging through the ranks of the industry and making their mark.

In a tough year, innovation was welcomed. As a result, we have introduced Innovation of the Year: Europe, an award designed to represent those that aimed to tackle big-picture challenges, either through new technologies, products or thought leadership.

More familiar categories make a return as well. Across the 34 categories you will find Bank Lender of the Year: Europe, Alternative Lender of the Year: Europe, and several country specific equivalents. Back too are the deal-focused categories, as well as the debt adviser and service provider awards.

Despite the slowdown in the industry, those shortlisted across these awards demonstrate the resilience of the industry and its ability to innovate and adapt.

Your votes will decide who deserves the most prestigious accolades in the industry, so get voting now via our dedicated voting page.
