Knight Frank lures CBRE director to lead debt advisory unit

The property advisor has appointed Lisa Attenborough as head of commercial debt.

Knight Frank has launched a new debt advisory practice with the senior appointment of Lisa Attenborough (pictured), former director at CBRE Capital Advisors.

Attenborough joins the property advisor as head of commercial debt, and will lead the new service line, as the firm continues to expand its remit.

Her previous experience includes more than 10 years at Barclays Bank in a range of teams across structured property finance, debt finance and latterly in the corporate healthcare team. She was subsequently at CBRE for two years, before joining Knight Frank.

“As part of Knight Frank’s wider strategy to broaden the expertise and assistance we can offer our clients, Lisa will be working with both the specialist investment and finance teams to advise clients on arranging development finance, operational real estate and brings with her access to over 150 financial lenders,” said John Snow, head of UK commercial at Knight Frank.

Attenborough added: “We are encountering a challenging and ever-changing debt market and I am looking forward to the challenge of bringing my previous experience to launch and build a new practice at Knight Frank.”
