Tammy Kuan has joined Savills Investment Management, the international real estate investment manager, as CFO, Asia-Pacific, to strengthen the firm’s expansion in the region.
Kuan will lead the finance and operations teams in Asia-Pacific, responsible for fund finance, financial reporting and control, due diligence, risk and compliance.
She will work also with various teams on tax structuring, tax compliance, debt origination and treasury management.
“Tammy is a highly accomplished professional capable of delivering a robust and experienced financial perspective to support new fund launches,” said Michael Flynn, CEO, Asia-Pacific at Savills IM. “Her expertise will be invaluable in helping Savills IM’s continued growth and expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.”
Kuan was most recently the executive director and financial controller for Morgan Stanley Asia-Pacific’s investment management business, providing financial oversight and support to the firm’s asset management, real estate, private equity and infrastructure funds business. She held various senior executive positions at the firm previously and has over 20 years of experience in the field.
The €18 billion firm is undergoing a series of senior management appointments in-line with its global expansion. In the Asia-Pacific region, it hired Jennifer Johnstone-Kaiser as a director in its Sydney office and promoted Michael Flynn as the firm’s CEO in Asia Pacific in the past three months.
