REC Awards 2020: We want to hear from you

Real Estate Capital is calling for submissions for 35 categories in this year’s awards. To help us compile our shortlists, we want to hear your highlights from a tough year.

2020

In all walks of life, 2020 has been tough. In Europe’s real estate debt market, the covid-19 pandemic has led to significantly reduced financing activity.

Yet despite the highly challenging conditions, many have continued to do business. And as we get ready to compile the shortlists for our 2020 awards, we want to hear your highlights from a difficult year.

Our awards, now in their seventh year, recognise the lenders, borrowers, advisors and deals that moved the needle in the year before. As a reminder, here are our 2019 winners. This year, we have expanded from 31 to 35 categories. New awards have been introduced, including Small-Ticket Market Lender of the Year: Europe, recognising the specialist lenders, challenger banks and online lending platforms that cater to the sub-€15 million loan market.

If you believe your organisation deserves to be considered for an award, we are inviting you to click HERE to submit your achievements in 2020 so far – the deadline is Friday, 13 November. Voting will open in December, with the winners announced in our spring 2021 edition, and online at recapitalnews.com in March of next year.

We are often asked how long the submissions should be. The answer is: please keep them brief. We do not want to sift through reams of marketing material. Stick to the headline facts – we want to know about your deals – and convince us that your organisation should be in contention for one of our prestigious awards.

When making your submission, please state the category or categories you would like to be considered for. Here they are, listed in full:
