Although we are almost in the final week of voting for our 2019 awards, there is still everything to play for in several of the categories. As you return to your desks after the festive break, why not take a few minutes to have your say?

The polls close at midnight, UK time, on Friday, 10 January, but far better to get the job done now than wait until the last minute. The results will be revealed in March.
Certain categories remain tight at this late stage. In the Bank Lender of the Year category, US giants Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs European Real Estate Finance Group are neck and neck. However, it would not take much of a turnaround to put France’s BNP Paribas or Société Générale back into contention.
Similarly, our Bank Lender of the Year in Germany category remains too close to call. Helaba and pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank are battling for the award, though the other two shortlisted lenders, Berlin Hyp and LBBW, are breathing down their necks.
In these and the rest of our 31 categories, your votes really can make all the difference.
A quick reminder of the rules is warranted. Votes will be accepted from your company email address only. You may not vote for yourself or your own firm. You may vote only once. We encourage you to make selections in as many categories as possible, though you do not have to vote in all of them.
Armed with that knowledge, we hope you enjoy casting your votes in our annual awards.
We would also like to wish all our readers a very happy new year.
