A volatile geopolitical and macroeconomic backdrop, and an uneven recovery in property sectors, have resulted in challenging conditions for European real estate markets in 2025. But those providing debt finance have found their capital to be in demand as dealflow has gradually increased during the year.
The banks, alternative lenders, borrowers, advisers, as well as the stand-out transactions of the year, will be celebrated in the Real Estate Capital Europe Awards 2025. Today, the awards process is launched, with a call for nominations across the 27 categories.
Similarly to last year’s accolades, the 2025 awards will be editorially chosen. To ensure our editorial team has the information it needs to make fair and balanced decisions, we are inviting nominations, with a deadline of midday, UK time, on Monday 17 November.

This year, we have added one category. With the offices sector on the rebound, Office Lender of the Year: Europe has been added to our existing sectoral awards for industrial and logistics and residential. A full list of our awards categories can be found below.
The winners and runners-up will be announced on Monday, 2 March 2026, and will also be featured in the spring 2026 edition of Real Estate Capital Europe.
