• 99 Bishopsgate was the biggest single asset financed in the past four weeks and marked Santander’s return to larger deals, after a quiet period for the bank. It was US lender Wells Fargo’s fourth London deal this year.

• Following GE Capital and Cornerstone in July/August, another new lender made its debut loan: AEW’s European Senior Loans Fund was part of a club that lent on a French logistics portfolio.

• Deutsche Pfandbriefbank continued to be one of Europe’s most active lenders and its new Swedish office, headed by Anders Tagt, made its first two loans.
