Valente takes JP Morgan role
Joe Valente has left Allianz Real Estate to join JP Morgan Asset Management as head of research and strategy for the European real estate team. He will report to Peter Reilly, head of European real estate. Valente moved from his post as global head of research at DTZ to join Allianz in 2007. There, he was head of investment strategy.
Henderson men move up
Henderson Property’s James Darkins and Mike Sales have moved up the ranks. Darkins, managing director of global property, has been brought on to the board of parent company Henderson Global Investors. He is charged with overseeing the development of Henderson’s Asia business. Sales, meanwhile, will co-head Henderson Property alongside Darkins, becoming managing director and chief investment officer of global property.
Brennan takes indirect step
Isabelle Brennan has joined Prupim’s indirect investment team, reporting to indirect investment management director Adrian Little. She was previously an analyst in Henderson Global Investors’ property fund of funds team.
Sten steps up at GE Capital RE
Lennart Sten has been promoted to president of GE Capital’s European real estate arm. Based in Paris, he will report to Mark Begor, president and chief executive of GE Capital Real Estate. Sten has been head of the group’s northern business units since 2005 and will now focus on the investment management business.
