CBRE Global Investors has promoted Michael Ness to UK country manager. Ness will also continue in his post as head of separate accounts. Jean Lamothe, who was previously CBRE GI’s head of the UK and European businesses, becomes head of value-added investments in Europe.

Greaves quits Grainger for M&G

M&G Real Estate, formerly PRUPIM, has hired Alex Greaves to expand its investment in the UK residential sector. He previously managed property company Grainger’s joint venture with Lloyds.

Raitio swaps ATP for Aberdeen

Ville Raitio is leaving ATP Real Estate Partners to become a fund management director at Aberdeen Asset Management. At ATP he managed the Danish indirect property investments of ATP’s pension fund. Before that he was research director at INREV.

New roles for Lloyds BSU duo

Richard McDowell and Chris Ward are moving from Lloyds’ Business Support Unit to join the bank’s mid-markets property lending team for London & the South East, headed by Gabrielle Berring.

Artelia adds Duck to team

Artelia UK has appointed Mike Duck to its infrastructure and project finance team as associate director. He will be responsible for developing the project monitoring service for banks and investors. He previously worked at McBains Cooper Consulting.
