
ICG-Longbow has hired Trevor Homes to replace Graham Emmett, who has left to join rival Cheyne Capital.
Homes will help run Senior Secured UK Property Debt Investments, the £109m senior debt fund which Longbow raised and launched on the London Stock Exchange on 5 February.
Homes, an experienced property lender, most recently worked at UniCredit’s London office, leaving last year after the European bank retrenched to its core Italian, German and central European markets.
New entrants to senior lending are looking for experienced staff and more announcements are expected soon.
Costar reported last week that TIAA-CREF has hired ex-Lehman Brothers banker Catherine Webster to launch its entry into UK and northern European senior property debt lending.
Hermes has recruited Marcus Palmer, previously at Chalkhill and NAMA, to invest in debt.
