Grosvenor Fund Management has hired former Morgan Stanley capital raiser Dietrich Heidtmann as managing director of client services in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Heidt mann will be based in Paris, reporting to chief investment officer James Raynor.
Grosvenor raised three new pools of capital last year. The largest was Grosvenor Retail Partnership, a club with Bouw-invest REIM and a Canadian investor, which paid Unibail-Rodamco €416m for six French and Swedish shopping centres.
In central London, Grosvenor was mandated to invest £200m for Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, while in the US it announced a healthcare joint venture with the Kuwait Finance House.
