Zehner takes on new JLL role
Jon Zehner is joining LaSalle Investment Manage-ment next month in a new role as head of global capital markets. He will work with global CEO Jeff Jacobson and be a member of the global management committee. Zehner was previously at AREA Property Partners.
Goldsworthy joins US investor
Former HSBC head of UK lending Ian Goldsworthy joined Kennedy Wilson last month. The US group is recruiting in London and Dublin after buying a $1.8bn, UK-based loan portfolio from Bank of Ireland.
Alvarez & Marsal calls Priest
Alvarez & Marsal, the US firm advising on Lehman Brothers’ bankruptcy in the US, has increased its European team to six by hiring ex-Deloitte partner Robin Priest. Priest, who has also worked at Mapeley, will target restructuring mandates.
Fortress appoints DB’s Courbage
Cyril Courbage, Deutsche Bank’s former European head of real estate, has joined Fortress Investment Group to head European real estate and begin originating senior debt. He left Deutsche Bank late last year and was replaced by Gad Caspy.
Rickert moves on from JP Morgan
Jon Rickert, JP Morgan’s head of European real estate structured finance, has left the bank, where he had worked since 1997.
Schöberl gains seat on ECE board
Iris Schöberl, F&C REIT’s head in Germany, has joined the supervisory board at shopping centre specialist ECE.
