Schlüter leaves Hatfield Philips
Mathias Schlüter, Hatfield Philips International’s managing director, is leaving the firm. He headed the business from 2011 until this January, when Blair Lewis took over as chief executive officer. The firm said Wilhelm Hammel, existing director of strategic and business development in Germany, will join the firm’s senior management team, while Matt Carson is promoted to director of operations. It is thought that Schlüter will stay working in Europe in a real estate debt investing role.
Sisson takes CBRE GMM role
Paul Sisson has joined CBRE Global Multi Manager as head of Americas, based in New York. His new role includes sourcing debt and equity investments via primary funds, secondaries and co-investments. He was head of originations for Brookfield’s Real Estate Financial Partners debt investment arm and was previously at Starwood Capital.
Lidgate helps build LGP resi arm
Legal & General Property has appointed James Lidgate as head of residential. He was previously land director at Bellway Homes, focusing on north London. LGP is expanding its residential investments and Lidgate will work on accessing new forms of investment and structuring funding, as well as deals.
Bronda moves to Zurich
Zurich Insurance is increasing its exposure to property and has appointed Alessandro Bronda to the new role of head of global real estate. Bronda was previously head of investor solutions at Aberdeen Asset Management.
